Activity Assignment 1
Document 1: Application for Admission into the PSOE Program
                This document is the Application for Admission into the Price School of Education Program here at Reinhardt. Any education major has to apply with this document to be in the program and to take your major course. This application will tell the professors more about who you are as a person and who they are taking in their school. After you turn this document in with the others you need you sign up for an interview with the professors. The interview is important because it also helps them verify who you are as a person.

Document 2: Sports Studies Internship Application
                This is the Sports Studies internship Application. This helps the sports studies program organize who gets internships out in the field. It helps the professors in this program get to know their students even more because this application is most likely turned in when students are juniors or seniors. It helps students organize who they are and where they want to work in the field of sports.

Document 3: Courses for the ECE Program for Traditional students
                This document is the course assignments for all ECE, Early Childhood Education, students here at Reinhardt. It tells what all courses you need and gives you different options to what to take. When you come is as a freshman you start looking at the left side of the page and work your way to the right side which is when you get into the PSOE to finish your degree.

Document 4: Course for the ECE WAIT Program students
This document is for the WAIT students. The WAIT program is for non-traditional, night going students who have to work during the day. It also tells what the students have to take in order to fulfill their degree in the Early Childhood Education program. They             go through the same classes as the traditional students but at night.
Document 5: The Advisors’ Form
                This form is for the advisors. It helps them keep track of their students and what they are taking. Advisors have multiple students to take of so they have to keep all of them on track to graduate. These forms help advisors keep organized.

Document 6: Candidate Evaluation Form
                Students who want to get into the PSOE give this form to three professors. Two forms go to people inside the PSOE and one goes to another professor outside the PSOE. These are strictly confidential after given to the professor. The professors then give this form to Glenda Bell, who works beside Dr. Curry’s office. This form is part of the Application to Admission to the PSOE.

Document 7: Power Point: Lesson Plan building
                This power point helps students know how to make lesson plans that are effective and workable in the classroom. It goes step by step into how to build a lesson plan and what is it in. This model for a lesson plan is the “work backwards” plan. You find the ultimate goal of your students during that class time and then you figure out your lesson from that. It is supposed to be simpler than going straight through a lesson plan.

Document 8: Rubric for Lesson Plans
                This is the rubric for the lesson plans you will be making. It tells you what completes a successful lesson plan to get your main point across. Your lesson plan should be so detailed that somebody could walk into your class and be able to teach the lesson for the day.

Document 9: Sports Studies power point
                This power point is to get the sports studies majors or freshman excited for what all they have to look forward to during their time at Reinhardt. There are details about how to be effective and powerful in your profession, no matter what field you are going into.

Document 10: Sports Studies Newsletter
                This is a newsletter that gives detail about what is going on the Sports studies field. It gives important information about certain students, who to look out for, and alumni updates that are important for all Sports Studies majors to know about.
